Calotrace — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Calotrace is an independent app developed by H2i Studio.

2. Offline-only app (no cloud)

Calotrace stores your data locally on your device. We do not upload your entries, photos, captions, or timestamps to any server, and we do not share them with third parties.

3. What we collect

Calotrace stores only what you explicitly provide:

Your first name (stored locally on your device only)
Photos you log (meal photos)
Captions and timestamps associated with your logs

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, location data, device identifiers, or behavioral analytics.

4. Where your data is stored

All your data — including photos — is stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any server for storage. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data stored by Calotrace on that device.

5. Who has access to your data

Nobody except you.

We do not sell your data.
We do not share your data with third parties.
We do not use your photos for AI training, marketing, or any purpose other than displaying them back to you on your device.
H2i Studio staff do not access your stored data.

6. Sensitive photos

We understand that photos can be sensitive personal data. They are stored locally on your device and are treated with the highest level of confidentiality.

7. Data retention

Local storage: data exists as long as the app is installed on your device (unless you delete entries manually). Uninstalling the app removes Calotrace’s locally stored data from that device.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access all data you have stored in Calotrace (on your device)
Delete any individual entry at any time from within the app
Stop using the app and uninstall at any time

If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

9. Children

Calotrace is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
